The Mercury is my daily driver and I freaking love it. I can’t say enough positive things about this board. It's camber underfoot and rocker past the inserts (toward the tips) so on groomers its kindof skate-y and I have less drag from the base slowing me down, yet have lots of effective edge when I make a turn. It handles variable conditions really well, it's stable cruising at high speed and floats in pow. Directional-twin shapes are my favorite since they’re so versatile. Love my Mercury no matter what the day calls for!After an initial adjustment period of getting used it, I can say hands down that this board is the best I’ve ever ridden. After an initial adjustment period of getting used it, I can say hands down that this board is the best I’ve ever ridden. Locks in the carves all day, eats up uneven terrain, very stable under foot and ultra fast - I swear this thing could ride up hill! No more getting stuck on flat sections, no more being left behind by skiers, and no more washing out on bumps, this thing flies. I would say this board this not suitable for a beginner, or even an intermediate. It’s defiantly geared up for the more experienced rider. The stiffer flex and super quick base doesn’t forgive many mistakes. I would also recommend pairing this up with some stiff bindings. I rode it with some softer bindings at first and it didn’t work, and felt twitchy. But when I put a pair of Burton cartel X on it, it all made sense and was very responsive. Living in Oregon this is the perfect Mt hood board . My first session has been a blast I needed a upgrade so the guys at Eugene tactics help me out I was lucky enough to grab the 22 23 model mercury. When I took the ski cat up to Palmer I was Easily able to reach speed up to 50 mph with extreme security. When I knuckle jumps the board Absorbs so much impact . Euro carves for days thank you for making this board capitaMy everyday board. I love the camber profile.
